Simple Multicast plugin for AXIS Network speakers and audio bridges

Listens to multiple Multicast groups and realtime playback of streams.

Supported architectures: MIPS (eg. C2005 and C8033) and ARM (eg. C1410)
Supported codecs: G.711 alaw, G.711 ulaw and S16BE (S16BE = PCM signed 16-bit big-endian).
Auto provisioning support (tftp) and provisioining software also available. (Support for various vendor's hardware. Eg. Cyberdata, Axis, OBT etc)
Tested with C2005, C8033 and C1410

Customizations possible by request eg. additional codecs

Benefits:

Audio is directly handled in the L2 layer in the network and no servers are needed to handle audio streams
Good audio quality with S16BE -codec
All the configuration is done via auto provisioning (or with static configuration files)
Possibility to use various vendors network speakers in the same location as most of them support Multicast by default
Multiple Announcement Zones
Can listen to multiple Multicast groups
Needs only eg. IP Microphone to make announcements / play music etc
